CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

Another joint lesson in the ENGLISH DEPARTMENT , this time with the Spanish language and Art departments who have been working on the story CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.
The children in 1st ESO read the book in Spanish with their Spanish language teachers, then they created their own picture of their favourite characters and the chocolate factory.

We learned the Oompa Loompas songs in  English  and finally we danced the coreography of one the songs in class.  Here are some pictures of The choco-party , and the video of the dance

The name Pilates which sounds  now quite familiar to everyone was not very popular a few years ago. We learned in the English class about the fascinating story of Joseph Pilates and his INVENTIONS, then Ivan Lombardo from Pilates Dynamics introduced us to the method with a practical lesson.
