ICT LESSONS TAKEN TO 1ESO BY ERASMUS + STUDENTS

The students who took part in the mobilities during the Erasmus project in 2018 became teachers in 1ESO where they presented the three countries that had taken part in the project, how they participated in the project and some of the activities they did.

One of the tools of the project which has been frequently used is Padlet. We even had a personal mail from the makers as we answered their customer survey with our personal positive review of the tool. In the visit to Málaga the students were asked to study what they were going to see and create a padlet and a Kahoot after the trip which they used in their presentations .

But using all these new digital tools created a debate about using mobiles in the school Here is an article about it that triggers the discussion and our students tips for the use of phones

1ESO CHRISTMAS HAMPERS

The Christmas shopping goes into the classroom in 1 ESO . The Maths teachers have designed a Christmas activity for this level where the studnets had made beautiful designs of Christmas hampers with their favourites products.

The lesson worked on the following objectives

To work operations with decimal numbers

To make a budget

To learn English vocabulary related to food

To use oral skills to make a good impression about the final product

The activity aimed at the development of the following students competences :

- Lingüistic competence

- Mathematic competence

- Social competence

- Digital competence

- Artistic competence

The students presented the activity in class explaining the relationship between the prices and the products, reflecting on the relation quality-price.

3ESO GOES TO THE THEATRE

FORTUNE'S FOOL

Last Monday we went to a theatre in Las Lagunas to see a play performed in English.
The play was about a man who wanted to sell his hotel and he met a criminal who was wanted but in fact she was innocent . So the man helped her to prove that she wasn't a criminal.

From my point of view, this play has been very funny and it has a good level of English for us. It was cool that the actor and actress on stage chose people to participate and perform on stage too. I liked the play .
